About The Event

Garrett Millerick

Garrett Millerick is an acclaimed stand up comedian, writer and director most recently seen performing stand-up on the hit US late-night talk show Conan(TBS). He is also the co-host of hit podcast Laughable with Jayde Adams and Red Richardson which was recently picked by the Guardian as one of the funniest podcasts to listen to during the pandemic.

Garrett’s breakout live show Sunflower became one of the best reviewed and most talked about shows of 2018, both at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and subsequently at London’s Soho Theatre. The show saw packed houses for both runs and regularly added shows to cope with demand. The show was Time Out London’s No.1 Comedy Pick for February 2019, and saw Garrett receive a nomination for ‘Breakthrough Act’ at the 2019 Chortle Awards.  Garrett’s follow up show Smile surpassed Sunflower, once again selling out its run and adding extra shows. The Times called Smile one of the stand out shows of 2019 and The British Comedy Guide named it one of the best reviewed shows of the year in their annual report. Smile transferred to London before touring the UK in 2020.

He is currently working on a new sitcom which previously recorded a pilot for Audible produced by Hat Trick Productions and starring Jack Dee and Meera Syal. It is currently being developed for television.

Dana Alexander

Dana draws her material from raw life experience with an original and hilarious outlook.

She began her comedy career at the age of 18 years old in Canada. Before long she began touring nationally with Yuk Yuk's Comedy Clubs, completed 5 television galas and several radio spots for major stations.

In 2011 Dana moved to the U.K. where she premiered her solo hour at The Edinburgh Festival for which she received rave reviews and nominations including "Best Comic" and "Best International Act" from Chortle and Black Comedy Awards. It was not long before she then featured on British television on programmes such as "Russell Howard's Good News", "Edinburgh Comedy Fest" and "The Culture Show".

You also can hear Dana by following her regular Podcast - "Comedians Of The World"

"Refreshing and Fearless. Her comedic style has been described as 'smart, irreverent and revolutionary" - Now Magazine

Angelos Epithemiou

Unwitting star of Shooting Stars (BBC2), Dave’s One Night Stand and Channel 4’s The Angelos Epithemiou Show, cult favourite Angelos takes a giant leap into the spotlight yet again in this shambolic, weird and wonderful show. Think Little Britain meets Vic and Bob meets a smattering of Ivan Brackenbury and then lower your expectations and get on board.

Angelos Epithemiou is the creation of critically acclaimed performer, Dan Renton Skinner – a member of the Dutch Elm Conservatoire Sketch group. Dan has starred in such blockbuster films as The Spy Who Dumped Me, High Rise, and Swallows and Amazons for BBC Films and such TV serial-classics as The Tracey Ullman Show, Friday Night Dinner, and The Wrong Mans.

He got his break in 2009, when he became a permanent team member on the revival of Shooting Stars, replacing Johnny Vegas on Ulrika Jonsson’s Team B, before becoming the scorer. Dan was nominated for the breakthrough award and best sketch or character act at the 2010 Chortle awards. In December 2011 Skinner won the Best Comedy Breakthrough Artist at The British Comedy Awards.
